The new hybrid Design window system from Schüco is a unique choice for façades. It has an exterior surface of high-quality, puristic aluminium, while the interior is made from PVC-U to offer maximum thermal insulation.

This perfect combination of two long-lasting materials can also be tailored to fulfil ambitious design and colour requirements. The flush-fitted aesthetic of the Schüco Symbiotic series of windows and window doors is particularly well-suited to modern architectural concepts.

In fixed lights and vent units from the Schüco Symbiotic series, the glazing is in the same vertical plane, creating a harmonious façade appearance from the outside of aluminium without glass offset. The vent frame has an adhesive rebate for optional glass bonding so that larger units can also be fabricated. Alternatively or additionally, steel reinforcements can be used.

The new PVC-U/aluminium window construction is fitted with weldable vent rebate gaskets and ones that are rolled in as standard. This creates a continuous gasket frame with increased watertightness in the corner areas and a closed corner appearance.
