Janisol stainless steel Door System

Thermally insulated stainless steel door system for special requirements – elegant and highly resilient

The stainless steel profile system is conceived for elegant thermally insulated door constructions with the highest requirements in functionality, security and design – ideally suited for use in coastal and industrial zones and in care-related and hygiene-critical areas.

The compatibility of Janisol stainless steel door systems guarantees visually uniform solutions even when there are a number of different security requirements: non-insulated Jansen Economy doors for indoor use and smoke protection as well as Janisol 2 fire protection systems can be combined.

  • Stainless steel profiles made from material 1.4401 for use in industrial and coastal zones (acid-resistant)
  • Stainless steel for antimicrobial applications: e.g. in hospitals and care institutions
  • High mechanical stability and durability for heavily used doors, for example in public areas
  • Small basic depth and slender profile face widths
  • Optional: Burglar and bullet-resistant design
  • Comprehensive sound reduction expert report
  • Concealed hinges, door closers and drivers ensure a harmonious appearance

Thermally insulated stainless steel profile system for doors, material 1.4401, with a basic depth of 60 mm.

Design features:
All corner and T-joints are securely welded together.
The surface of the profiles is sheet metal, the visible surfaces are polished.
The stainless steel glazing retention beads are supplied in a sheet metal design; the visible surfaces are polished.
The high-quality insulating bar securely joins the half profiles together. It withstands the short-term temperature increases during welding.
In the case of door units with bullet-resistant requirements, the fabrication instructions from the system provider must be observed.
Glass and/or infills of 14 mm to 40 mm can be used.
Door leaves flush-fitted inside and outside with a 5 mm shadow gap on all sides.
Double, continuous rebate weatherstrip on three sides. Transition to automatic floor seal without using special seals.
Continuous thermal insulation level within the entire construction, even in corner and sash bar areas. No thermal bridging in the area of the lock and fittings kits.
The infill is sealed in using double-sided tape and sealing is by means of permanently elastic sealing compound.
