Economy 50 stainless steel Window System

Non-insulated window system for special requirements – slimline and highly resilient

Highly resilient with a light appearance: The non-insulated Economy 50 stainless steel window system offers slimline solutions which meet the highest requirements for functionality, security and design – ideally suited for use in coastal and industrial zones and in street-side and hygiene-critical areas.

The comprehensive range of fittings for side-hung, turn/tilt, double-vent and bottom-hung opening types together with the narrow, highly stable profiles guarantees maximum flexibility during bespoke architectural and design planning for elegant stainless steel window constructions.

  • Stainless steel profiles made from material 1.4404 for use in industrial and coastal zones (acid-resistant)
  • Stainless steel for antimicrobial applications: e.g. in hospitals and care institutions
  • Small basic depth and slender profile face widths
  • All standard opening types can be selected
  • Rebated system with appearance suitable for renovations
  • Optional: Burglar-resistant design
  • System compatibility guarantees flexible application options

F 90 “Jansen Janisol C 4” fire-resistant glazing in accordance with DIN 4102

Design features:
The load-bearing construction consists of thermally broken steel profiles with fire-resistant infill panels fitted at the factory and integral cable duct (tested pre-rolled).
All corner and T-joints are securely welded together.
The high-quality insulating bar securely joins the half profiles together. It withstands the short-term temperature increases during welding.
Smooth steel profiles and insulating bars must be used on all sides. The energy-absorbing fire-resistant panel and the cable duct are installed at the factory and are not visible on the finished unit. For hygiene and design reasons, an open composite profile is allowed.
The width of the profiles (without end stops) is 25/50 mm.
Door leaves flush-fitted inside and outside with 5 mm shadow gap on all sides.
Double, continuous rebate weatherstrip on three sides. Transition to automatic floor seal without using special seals. The floor seals can also be retrofitted easily.
The door rebate must be fitted with an insulation-building material, Jansen article 451.084.

Without a threshold, with automatic floor seals. (RH in accordance with DIN 18 095)

Only tested fittings that belong to the system may be used (type and method of construction are described in more detail in the “Fittings” section).
